After the new plan was put into action, subscribers had to put up with a lot of missing channels and the companies had to face their own share of problems too. This led to many subscribers switching their DTH providers in search of a better provider – someone who gives a better value for money service. However, it should be noted that the new Trai tariff regime is currently in effect and all the DTH providers are offering different long-term offers, multiple-TV subscription pricing and many other plans. The major DTH providers are offering long-term subscription plans for their subscribers with varying deals. The long-term subscription plans offered by Dish TV, D2h and Tata Sky are given below:
Tata Sky
Tata Sky is offering up to 30 days of Free Recharge Days where the subscribers will be able to get 30 days extra on subscription of Tata Sky annually. The Free Recharge Days is also named as the Flexi Annual plan. It is worth adding that Tata Sky subscribers won’t have much choice between various subscription periods, as all plans by the company span 30 days.
If the subscribers wish to avail this offer, then they will have to recharge by depositing the amount of the annual subscription in their Tata Sky account first. After the recharge, the extra days will become available to the subscribers. However, the extra days will be given to them at the end of the subscription.
D2h
D2h has come up with their own version of the long-term plan which is not like Tata Sky’s. According to the D2h’s listing, the DTH provider is giving 7 days of additional subscription on a 3-month plan, 15 days of additional subscription on a 6-month plan and 30 days of additional subscription on an 11-month subscription plan. Furthermore, D2h is also giving its subscribers 60 days of additional subscription on a 22-month subscription plan, 90 days of additional subscription on long term subscription of 33 months, 120 days of additional subscription on 44-month subscription plan. And finally, its giving away five months or 150 days of free additional subscription on subscribing to D2h’s services for 55 months. D2h’s subscription plan has made it one of the most eligible offers for the subscribers.
Dish TV
Dish TV is also offering free days on its long-term recharges which is similar to D2h’s. The subscribers of Dish TV will get 7 days of additional subscription on a 3-month subscription plan, 15 days of additional subscription on the 6-month subscription plan and 30 days of additional subscription on the 11-month plan.
