According to a report by XDA Developers, Google Pixel 5 smartphone will back out from the flagship market. It is most likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 in place of Snapdragon 865. To recall earlier this year in January three Pixel codes namely, Sunfish, Bramble, and Redfin were reported for the first time. The device with the codename Sunfish was said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 whereas Bramble, and Redfin was suggested to draw its power from  Qualcomm Snapdragon 765.  The Sunfish codename was believed to be Pixel 4a but there was no actual information related to the other two codenames Bramble and Redfin. These two codenames were speculated to be Google’s late 2020 flagship Pixel devices. At that time the publisher could not find any definitive links proclaiming that the Pixel 5 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765. But later on, both the codenames were spotter in the leaked Google Camera 7.4 APK. The report says, “We weren’t comfortable definitively proclaiming that the Pixel 5 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 at the time just based on that code analysis, though. That’s because there was still only one piece of evidence linking “bramble” and “redfin” to the Snapdragon 765—our initial code-name discovery back in January. Now, though, we have another piece of evidence linking these two code-names to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765.” It was spotted on a pre-installed EUICCGoogle APK that was updated with a new reference to Google’s upcoming devices. He figured out that the  “modem_model_mappings_json” string now contained a new line for the “g7250” modem that is believed to be Google’s code-name for the Snapdragon 765G or Snapdragon 768G.  According to another report by Android Police Google Pixel 5 is claimed to ship Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 SoC. Now enough evidence has been gathered to support the claim that this time the company is going to turn the Pixel 5 into an upper-mid-range flagship. So it is expected to go cheaper and is rumoured to be priced around $699 (approx Rs 52,764) which is $100 (approx Rs 7,548) less expensive than its predecessor Pixel 4. The company is rumoured to be keeping out the Motion Sense technology which uses Project Soli radar chip from its upcoming series is another reason for the decline in the pricing of the device.
